Demeter Cabin Photo

Hi!

Sorry it took me so long to add little Camille to the Demeter cabin photo for . I was kinda busy. But, she's added now. Here's the official cabin stuff.

This is the group photo for the members of the Demeter Cabin. All incoming children of Demeter will be added to this picture.

Demeter is the goddess of the earth, of agriculture, and of fertility in general. Sacred to her are livestock, honey bees, agricultural products, poppy, narcissus and the crane. It is Demeter that makes the crops grow each year. The first loaf of bread from the yearly harvest is scarificed to her. She is the daughter of the titans Kronos ans Rhea.

Demeter's cabin's most distinguishable is it's grass covered roof. Every window has flower boxes and there is an abundance of various plants surrounding it.

Those born to Demeter are generally known as mild-mannered and kind people, though that does not always hold true. They don't necessarily excel in any one area though they are extremely proficient with gardening and thus are usually found in the strawberry fields at camp. Children of Demeter have been known to possess the power of aborkinesis, or the power to control plants.
